What Makes a Book “Notable”? 12/03/2010
The NY Times recently released their list of “100 Notable Books of 2010.” You can click this link to check out the list: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/05/books/review/100-notable-books-2010.html?_r=3&pagewanted=1&nl=books&emc=booksupdateema1 …And no, my book didn’t make it to that list ~ not yet, that is! Optimism and hard work are key elements to success, right? So what makes a book notable? How does a book make it to such a list? As an author, do you think getting listed on such a list is the ultimate success for you? Of course, it would be an honor to get my book listed on such a list, but if that never happens, I’d still be happy that I had a chance to write and tried to make a difference with my books. What are your thoughts on this subject? I’d love to hear from you. If you know of any notable books, feel free to comment on those and list the author’s website. Have a great weekend and keep working on writing your notable books. 3 Comments |
