Hmm, this could get interesting and oo-la-la…fun?
Oh, yeah. Let’s set the mood. Shall we?
Imagine a tiny, tropical island, gentle breezes, palm trees swaying, the relaxing sound of the waves slapping the shore line and you have the perfect setting for an amazing love scene. Being an erotic romance author and a healthy, red-blooded woman, you can imagine what direction my thoughts are headed. *Laughs*
The three things I’d have to have with me:
1--I absolutely would have to have my computer and pray the handsome, hot, sexy (Did I mention I’m stranded with one of the hottest male cover models in today’s publishing world)? So naturally he’d have to remove his shirt while he rigged up a temporary generator so I could use my computer. Think about those wide shoulders, six-pack abs, all that hard muscle and brute force at work just for me…Fanning self. Yeah, work is something I’m going to have my mind on at this point in time. Fanning self. *Giggles*
2—Oh…well this one’s easy—what’s a romantic setting like a tropical island worth if you don’t have food worthy of the gods? A few examples? How about a little pot of melted chocolate, fat, ripe, succulent strawberries, (Are you feeling the scene I’m setting here? Boy, I sure am!) A magnum of chilled champagne in a silver bucket of sparkling ice chips. (Don’t know about you, but I can think of a few other uses for that ice). A little dish of brie so light, it instantly melts on the tongue. But darn, I can have only one of these things. So readers, which one will it be? Hmm, a very difficult decision. I think I’d choose the strawberries and, Oh my, the things I could do with those ripe, juicy berries and my handsome hunk.
3—The handsome hunk! My heroines get their hot, male heroes all the time, but this one’s all mine, and I’m not into sharing. *Grins* So I choose to be stranded on this hot, tropical island with Jimmy Thomas, and what woman wouldn’t? Jimmy brightens our life every day. He’s on the cover of more than a thousand romance novels. You’ve seen him when you didn’t even realize it was him, and today, he’s all mine. Oh yes, I may be stranded, but I’m in seventh heaven!
Next! For a bit of fun, my hosts included three questions for me to answer. I hope you’ll have as much fun reading my answers and perhaps you’d be willing to share a few answers of your own.

That’s easy. The Salem Inn, at Salem, Massachusetts. There’s a spicy love scene that takes place there in Witch’s Heart, book two in my Winslow Witches of Salem Series under my other pseudonym, Tabitha Shay. It’s one of the hottest scenes I’ve ever written and readers, I hope you’re as excited as I am that this book will soon to be re-released in an extended version with a new cover and new edits. Secret Cravings Publishing has it scheduled for release in Feb., 2012.
Congrats on the re-release. What is your all-time favorite movie and why?
Gone With the Wind. Who could resist this movie--A handsome, Clark Gable, for the hero and lovely, Vivien Leigh, as the heroine? What a romantic era. Beautiful gowns that dazzle the mind. The romantic South and an era where men were gentlemen and their ladies were the belles of the balls. There will never be another movie or novel like Gone With the Wind.
Definitely agree with that movie choice. Give us the Top Five Random facts about you?
A—I have two tattoos.
B—I was a Practical Licensed Nurse for fourteen years.
C—I have five children and none of them are nurses. Lol…
D—I have one granddaughter, Tabitha, who will soon graduate from college and be a Registered Nurse. And another granddaughter, Shayla who will start the R.N. program next year. And yes, I get my pen name; Tabitha Shay, from these two lovely young ladies.
E—I’m not just an avid reader, but I LOVE, action movies. Ah-hah, bet you thought I’d say Romantic movies. Well yeah, that goes without saying, but my top choice is action. Give me Rambo and I’m perfectly content to sit back and relax with a bag of popcorn and a soft drink.
Thank you for sharing these facts. Neat way to get your pen name. Love action movies, too, which makes my husband happy since that's what he usually loves to watch; although, he will watch the occasional romantic comedy with me.

A touch of fire ignites a shocking murder…
From the moment Flayme Jansen looked into the slumberous green eyes of the sexy cowboy from Rimrock, Montana, she knew she was in trouble. But she’d never been in his kind of trouble: being taken into custody and placed in a witness protection program for national security.
Duel Remington has a job to do and no matter how difficult the feisty redhead makes it, he’s determined to protect her. Even if it means facing long cold nights handcuffed to the woman whose life he’s trying to save.
In the dead of winter…one man. One woman. One assassin. All are Playing For Keeps!
Sounds very intriguing. Can you share an excerpt?
Excerpt: Playing for Keeps by Jaydyn Chelcee
“Don’t let it trouble your pretty little head, sweetheart. I told you, you aren’t my type.” He tore off his denim coat and draped it across the back of the only chair in the room. With just that small movement, he groaned and what little color he had left drained away, leaving his face pale as the snow outside on the ground.
Flayme bit her lower lip and sent up another silent prayer that he didn’t die on her. Her eyes widened as she slowly scanned his body. Good grief, the man was armed to the gills. A shoulder holster fit snug against his side. When he turned to lock the door, she saw a second weapon at the small of his back. “You have one of those tucked in your boot, too?”
“What?” He frowned, dragging the chair across the room and jamming it beneath the doorknob, making the room as secure as possible.
“You expecting an invasion?” she asked, half joking. The other half of her mind darkened with fear. If he was this concerned, she thought maybe she should be too, or at the least, a bit more alert of what was going on around her. His unease worried her, because it meant there was something more than someone taking potshots at a little nobody CIA secretary.
