Here's the scoop on Leon's book, Amazing Adventures of a Nobody.
Tired of his disconnected life and uninspiring job, Englishman Leon Logothetis leaves it all behind – job, money, home, even his cell phone – and hits the road with nothing but the clothes on his back and five dollars in his pocket.
Filled with hilarious, unexpected and charming tales of adventure and the kindness of strangers, Leon’s life-changing journey leads him from Times Square all the way to the Hollywood sign.
Along the way, he sleeps on streets, sofas and firehouse floors; befriends pimps and preachers, astronauts and homeless families; rides in trains, big rigs and classic cars; and finds out first-hand that the kind, good soul of mankind is alive and well.

I was inspired to write this book after watching the movie the motorcycle diaries. I was working behind a desk and felt uninspired and lost in life. The movie inspired me to change my life. So I did. Yippee…
What was the most interesting research you had to do for any of your books?
My most interesting research was travelling across America relying on the kindness of strangers! This was a major life lesson in itself.
That's so inspiring, traveling across America...Are you currently working on any new book projects?
I am working on a new writing project based on My Latest Adventure: Kindness Cab
Looking forward to seeing that project. Do you have any advice for beginning writers on how to write a book? Do you have any advice for them regarding promoting that book once published?
Winston Churchill once said: Never ever ever give up! That is the best advice I can give for beginning writers because there will be times when you wonder why am I doing this??? In connection with promoting the book I always think its best to align yourself with a great publisher and a talented PR team. However, it is important to drive the promotion of the book yourself.
Great advice. Who is your favorite contemporary author? Are you currently reading any contemporary novels?
My favorite contemporary Paolo Cohello is my favorite contemporary author. I am currently re-reading The Alchemist.
What’s your writing schedule like? When do you find time to write?
I write every day for at least 3 hours. I tend to write at the same time each day. the morning.
How did you find your publisher? What was your journey to publication like?
I found my publisher through a personal friend. My journey to publication was full of bumps in the road. But when a bump appeared I just kept concentrating harder and found my way over it.
Persistence is so important to success. How have your friends and family received your career as an author? Are they supportive?
My friends and family are very supportive of my career as an author.
