I am thankful that I live in a great country and that we have freedom to live our lives for God’s glory and that it has not been greatly tested yet. I pray for all of our fellow Christians in other countries who do not have this great freedom—to worship God in freedom. I cannot even begin to imagine what they must go through as they have to worship God in secret…fearing for their safety and the safety of their families.
I am thankful for the opportunity that I have to live my dream of working from home and that I get to write every day. I am so thankful that God has allowed me to follow my dreams of becoming a published author and I want to glorify Him in every word that I write. I so enjoy writing books and hope to be able to follow this passion of mine for years to come.
I am thankful for a wonderful husband who is my best friend and I love him so much. He is the hardest worker that I know and I cherish the fact that he believes in God and trusts him—for leading as the head of our household. I am thankful for my family and how God has brought restoration among broken relationships and I continue to believe for further restoration in the New Year.
I am thankful for so many more things, but lastly want to say--my heart is at peace, knowing God has a good and perfect and pleasing will for our lives. I don’t have to fear (even though it’s easier said than done); because He knows our future and I can trust in His perfect guidance. What are you thankful for today?
